It says its reusable and washable but it didn't come with any information about how to wash and care for it. I guess I'm just going to soak it in vinegar and water, when the time comes, and let it dry. I think I would have given it five stars if it had come with some information about the product.
The paper filter does have a thin plastic strip across the top that was not on the original, but it does not seem to interfere. The price of the filters are a good buy. It's too bad these are getting harder to find as Eureka is not selling them anymore. The vacuum is terrible, but I'm still using it until it dies.
